Responsible Gaming
at ppvop —
Your Safety First
ppvop is committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable gaming environment for every player in Bangladesh. Our responsible gaming tools — deposit limits, session timers, self-exclusion, and reality checks — are designed to keep you in full control at all times.
Our Commitment to Safe Play
At ppvop, responsible gaming is not an afterthought — it is a foundational principle woven into every aspect of how we operate. We believe that gambling, when approached thoughtfully and within personal means, can be an entertaining pastime. However, we also recognise that for some individuals, gambling can become harmful. Our role is to ensure that every player on the ppvop platform has access to the information, tools, and support they need to stay in control.
Bangladesh's gaming community deserves a platform that takes player welfare seriously. ppvop invests continuously in responsible gaming infrastructure — from automated alerts triggered by unusual session lengths, to trained support staff available 7 days a week to assist any player who reaches out with concerns about their gambling behaviour.
The six core pillars of ppvop's responsible gaming programme are described below.
Every ppvop account undergoes mandatory date-of-birth verification at registration. KYC document checks confirm that no player under 18 is granted access to real-money gaming on our platform.
Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps in Bangladeshi Taka directly from your account settings. Once a limit is set, it cannot be increased for 48 hours — giving you time to reconsider.
Configure reality-check pop-ups that notify you how long you have been playing at intervals of your choosing — 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours. A brief pause can make a significant difference.
Request a temporary cooling-off period of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days — or apply for a permanent self-exclusion. During any exclusion period your account is locked and cannot be reopened by you.
Define the maximum amount in BDT you are willing to lose over a given period. When your net loss reaches the limit you set, ppvop will automatically suspend further play for the remainder of that period.
Our player welfare team is available every day from 09:00 to 22:00 BST (UTC+6). If you have any concern about your gaming behaviour, reach out to [email protected] — we respond within 48 hours.
18+ Age Restriction & Verification
Real-money gaming on ppvop is strictly for adults aged 18 and above. This is a non-negotiable requirement, and ppvop enforces it through a multi-layer age verification process applied to every account on our platform.
At registration: Every new player is required to enter their date of birth. Any application where the declared date of birth indicates the applicant is under 18 is automatically rejected, and the email address used in the application is flagged to prevent re-registration attempts.
KYC document verification: Before any withdrawal is processed, ppvop requires the submission of a government-issued identity document — such as a Bangladesh National ID card, passport, or birth certificate — that confirms the player's full name, date of birth, and photograph. Accounts belonging to individuals under 18, discovered at any stage, are permanently closed without notice.
Ongoing monitoring: ppvop's compliance team may request additional age verification at any point during the lifetime of an account where there is reasonable concern about the account holder's true age.
Protecting minors in your household: If you share a device or computer with minors, ppvop strongly recommends using parental control software to restrict access to gambling websites. Log out of your ppvop account completely after each session, and never share your login credentials with anyone, including family members.
Responsible Gaming Tools
ppvop provides a comprehensive suite of player-controlled tools to help you manage your gaming activity. All tools are accessible directly from your account dashboard, and most take effect immediately upon activation. Increases to existing limits are subject to a mandatory 48-hour cooling-off period before coming into force — reductions, by contrast, take effect immediately.
Set a maximum BDT amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly, or monthly rolling period. If you reach your limit, ppvop will decline any further deposit attempts until the period resets or the limit is reduced. Limit increases require a 48-hour review period before activation.
Cap the total amount in BDT you are permitted to lose within a defined daily, weekly, or monthly period. When your net loss reaches this threshold, your account is automatically suspended for the remainder of the period so you cannot continue playing beyond your own defined boundaries.
Define the maximum number of hours or minutes you may spend in a single gaming session. When your session reaches the limit, ppvop will display a mandatory break screen and log you out automatically. You must wait for a defined cooling-off interval before starting a new session.
Receive on-screen pop-up reminders at regular intervals (every 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours) displaying how long you have been playing in the current session and how much you have won or lost. Reality checks encourage mindful play and are designed to interrupt the flow of extended sessions.
Take a short break from gambling by activating a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days. During this period your account remains active for viewing purposes but all real-money gaming, deposits, and withdrawals are suspended. The cooling-off period cannot be cancelled early once activated.
If promotional emails, bonus notifications, or in-platform marketing messages feel like triggers for unnecessary play, you can opt out of all marketing communications at any time by contacting [email protected]. Opting out does not affect your ability to continue using the ppvop platform normally.
Self-Exclusion Programme
ppvop's self-exclusion programme is one of the most important responsible gaming tools we offer. If you feel that gambling is no longer a recreational activity and is instead causing harm to you or those around you, self-exclusion allows you to block your own access to the ppvop platform for a defined period — or permanently.
How Self-Exclusion Works
Self-exclusion can be requested at any time by contacting our support team at [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". You may also activate self-exclusion directly from the Responsible Gaming section of your account settings. The following exclusion durations are available:
- Short-term cooling off: 24 hours, 48 hours, or 72 hours — suitable for a brief voluntary break.
- Medium-term exclusion: 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days — recommended if you feel gambling is becoming a frequent concern.
- Long-term exclusion: 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months — for players seeking an extended structured break.
- Permanent exclusion: Indefinite closure of your ppvop account with no option to reopen. This option is irreversible and should be considered carefully.
What Happens During Self-Exclusion
Once a self-exclusion is activated, ppvop will take the following steps immediately:
- Your account is locked — you cannot log in, place bets, or deposit funds during the exclusion period.
- All pending promotional offers and bonus credits are cancelled and forfeited.
- ppvop will cease sending you all marketing and promotional communications for the duration of the exclusion.
- Any available balance in your account remains intact and can be withdrawn after the exclusion period ends (or, in the case of permanent exclusion, by contacting our support team).
- ppvop will take reasonable technical measures to prevent you from creating a new account during your exclusion period using the same identity or contact details.
Lifting a Self-Exclusion
Short-term and medium-term exclusions expire automatically at the end of the requested period. Long-term exclusions of 3 months or more require a written request to [email protected] and a mandatory 7-day reflection period before the account is reopened — this delay is intentional and cannot be waived. Permanent exclusions cannot be lifted under any circumstances.
Recognising Problem Gambling
Problem gambling can develop gradually. Many players who develop a gambling problem are not immediately aware that their behaviour has shifted from recreational enjoyment to something more harmful. Being aware of the warning signs — both in yourself and in people close to you — is a critical first step toward seeking help.
The following behaviours may indicate that gambling has become problematic. If you recognise several of these signs in your own behaviour, we encourage you to use ppvop's responsible gaming tools and to seek professional support.
Gambling with money set aside for essential expenses such as rent, food, utilities, or mobile recharge.
Chasing losses — continuing to bet in an attempt to recover money already lost in previous sessions.
Lying to family members, friends, or colleagues about how much time or money you spend on gambling.
Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when you are unable to gamble or when you attempt to cut down.
Neglecting work responsibilities, education, or personal relationships as a result of time spent gambling.
Borrowing money, taking out loans, or selling possessions to fund gambling activity.
Needing to bet larger and larger amounts to achieve the same level of excitement or satisfaction.
Thinking about gambling almost constantly — planning future sessions or replaying past ones in your mind.
Multiple failed attempts to reduce or stop gambling despite genuinely wanting to do so.
Experiencing feelings of guilt, shame, depression, or hopelessness after a gambling session.
Self-Assessment Questionnaire
The following questions are adapted from widely used responsible gaming screening tools. Answer honestly — this questionnaire is for your own awareness only and is not recorded by ppvop. If you answer "Yes" to three or more of the questions below, we strongly encourage you to use ppvop's self-exclusion tool and to contact a gambling support organisation.
Have you ever spent more money or time gambling than you originally intended in a single session?
Have you gambled with money that was intended for household bills, food, transport, or other essential needs?
Have you ever continued gambling in an attempt to win back money you had already lost?
Have you borrowed money from friends, family, or financial institutions specifically to fund gambling?
Have you concealed the extent of your gambling from someone close to you — a spouse, parent, sibling, or close friend?
Has gambling caused you to miss work, studies, family events, or other important commitments?
Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently throughout the day, even when you are not playing?
Have you ever felt depressed, anxious, guilty, or hopeless as a direct result of your gambling behaviour?
Support Resources & Help
ppvop encourages any player who is concerned about their gambling behaviour — or the gambling behaviour of someone they care about — to seek professional support. Speaking to a trained counsellor or support service is a confidential, judgement-free step toward regaining control.
The following types of support are commonly available to individuals dealing with gambling-related concerns:
- Helpline services: Many regions operate free, confidential gambling helplines staffed by trained counsellors who can provide immediate guidance, coping strategies, and referrals to local treatment services. These lines are typically available around the clock.
- Peer support groups: Organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous run regular in-person and online group meetings where people with shared experiences support one another through recovery. These groups are free to attend and operate on a completely anonymous basis.
- Professional counselling: Licensed therapists and addiction counsellors trained in gambling-related harm can provide structured cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments. Your primary healthcare provider can provide a referral if needed.
- Family support: If a family member's gambling is affecting you, organisations such as Gam-Anon provide dedicated support to the friends and family members of people with gambling problems. You do not need to be a gambler yourself to benefit from these services.
- Financial counselling: If gambling has led to financial difficulties, free debt advice and financial counselling services can help you create a plan to manage outstanding obligations and rebuild financial stability.
ppvop's support team can provide general guidance and direct you to responsible gaming resources appropriate for your situation. We are not a clinical service, but we are committed to ensuring that every ppvop player who reaches out for help receives a prompt, compassionate, and useful response.
